We were in Leicester for the night and the request from the family was for a Turkish meal. Having found this restaurant on Tripadvisor with good reviews I decided to book it. Booking was easy and Hasan confirmed it very quickly. On arrival Hasan was really welcoming. Service was friendly and fast, and we had a lovely meal followed by a complimentary shot. As a family group of 5, we had a couple of the cold sharing platters, various types of shish kebabs ( all excellent ), followed by Baklava. Overall I'd really recommend Anatolia if you are in looking for something different in Leicester.
What a find! This is currently the best Turkish restaurant in Leicester. The relaxed atmosphere adds to the benefit of the tasty food. I went for the Chicken Shish with rice. Be sure to order the Hummus with the bread, very tasty. The Chicken was nicely marinated and cooked perfectly over a charcoal grill. I will definitely be coming back here.
Not from this area stopping just up the road. Decided to have a meal here with my friend. Very welcoming from the start and left us to have a chat. Had garlic prawns and halumi for starters. Chicken shish and lamb chops for main. Starters were plenty and exactly as described. Mains were faultless. 3 descent size chops. Griddle chicken with the authentic taste. No pressure to leave and would definitely recommend and call back if I'm in the area.
